For eight years, Lizzie served as editor-in-chief of Fringe Magazine, an online literary journal dedicated to political and experimental writing, and with a special mission to publish work by a diverse range of authors. Fringe published micro and short nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and cross-genre work in addition to art. Started in Boston in 2005, it shut its doors in 2013. During its lifetime, Fringe became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and published more than 300 writers, many of them debut-authors, and a few of whom went on to publish novels and memoirs.

Lizzie also works as a developmental freelance editor, helping clients hone and shape their manuscripts. Interested in hiring her to work on your projects? Email her at lizzie.stark@gmail.com.
